Tink's First Photo Sessions

Tink has been with us nearly a year now, in fact I was just looking at her adoption records and on 11/24/2015 she was transferred from the Everett Animal Shelter to Purrfect Pals, both in Washington. We adopted Tink on December 11, 2015. Her shelter name was Jenny, and she was thought to be 4 years old. 

This was her first photo session, which happened about two weeks after we adopted her.  

She wasn't very good at modeling. 

Retro also held this opinion.

Tink really lacked focus, so photo shoots felt like a carnival, or maybe a horse race:

Maybe she was overstimulated, after all, this was all new to her. We worked on calming her down, and tried not to have big expectations for the photo shoots. Meanwhile, Retro was always reliable:

"I sniffs dis ting"

We dressed her in a cute bow tie and gave her a prop and then tried again:

Tink has a nice coat! It's dense, thick, puffy and has a neat character. Her top coat is shiny and she looks healthy.

 And you know what? Tink is a pretty good model now!

Think doesn't like the camera flash, but she does like to nap in our cat beds, and she loves the treats we reward her with.
