Coordinating Cat Beds - Scandi Style

UPDATE 09/27/2022 - The Scandi Style fabric collection by Marcus Fabrics offers a group of fabrics with a modern abstracted look. We bought a variety of prints from the collection in blues, greens and golds and set aside fabrics to make the Cat Ball® cat bed and both the jumbo and standard size Cat Canoe®. We will update this blog post with more images as the sewing is completed. The standard Cat Canoe® will be the last beds made with these fabrics.

It's fun to create cat beds using coordinating fabrics, giving shoppers some options that will look good together. Sometimes we end up making beds that completely match, and sometimes the bed fabrics just coordinate, it all depends on the quantity of fabric I'm able to buy.
I love sourcing fabrics that have highlights in green, blue, gold or yellow, as these colors will accent the natural colors of cat eyes.
