This is our new jumbo-size Cat Canoe®, we revised the pattern to scoop the ends and finish the bed with an attractive bias trim. 

The shell fabric is a beautiful navy blue batik, and the lining is a scratchy-looking navy blue and black. This lining will disguise shedded fur well. 

The model cat in the photos is Retro, he's tall and weighs about 17 pounds. 

The jumbo Cat Canoe® is about 12" wide at the base, and 20" long, and the tall sides are about 8.75". Yes, it looks a lot like a hard taco shell. You can read more about our revised jumbo Cat Canoe® design in this blog post. 

Cats shed all over their beds! Our favorite tools for removing this shedded cat fur includes cat brushed and upholstery detailing tools, you can read about tools we've found really helpful here.

For face masks, machine wash or hand wash, cold water is suggested to prevent shrinking. Recommend washing masks inside mesh bags. Do not bleach. Dry flat, hang dry or tumble dry. OK to iron these face masks.

Toe Up for Blue Taco

You never know if a new item will pass the “new test” with my beloved, but picky felines in this house. The blue canoe I bought 4+ years ago has withstood many many washings and is constantly fought over. I decided to expand and order the new navy circle jumbo canoe. I thought the newest, hyper active rescue kitten might get a kick out of it. He sure did… and so did all the other rescues and fosters on the farm. The size is fun and the open taco face supports wrestling and sneak attacks. All paws have a toe up in support of the blue taco bed!
